Without correction, I cannot read gauges with my right eye. However, with the glasses or contacts, I can read them from about 8 inches away with my right eye and see them clearly at 18 inches. The reduced backscatter from the glasses also makes it easier to read my old greyscale dive computer in low visibility. MaskOptix have made a significant impact on my diving, safety, and ability to perform even in near blackout conditions.

The comfort of these glasses is outstanding. They fit very well straight out of the box without needing to bend them much, thanks to the pre-positioned ear hooks. In terms of visibility, I typically wear them only when the underwater conditions are clear, and they truly enhance my vision by allowing me to see details I otherwise might miss. While my sight isn’t bad, the prescription lenses provided an extra layer of clarity, especially during inspections.
What They Loved!

I was impressed by the "wow" factor of these glasses; they did not fog during use. I often needed to vent my hat to clear the helmet faceplate, but the glasses remained clear. The packaging included a waterproof box and an anti-fog towelette, which made on-deck care and maintenance very easy. I also enjoyed the benefits of the Transition Grey tint and filter. The tint on the transition lenses was a great bonus, especially when transitioning from the water to the sunny boat deck. This feature is something I would definitely recommend.
